Proposal Submission Guidelines and Form

The Program Committee will consider a range of criteria when reviewing proposals. We are looking for a variety of activities, styles, formats, viewpoints, and topics with a broad representation of our communities. Strong proposals will clearly relate to the theme of GMHS 2012: Resiliency, Activism, Advocacy and to the Mission, Core Principles, and Core Issues of the Gay Men’s Health Summits (www.gmhs2012.org). Proposals with innovative and participatory formats will be favored. Proposals with new or underrepresented viewpoints will be favored. Proposals that reflect diversity across a wide variety of categories will be favored.

Please provide the information requested below along with any other information you would like the Program Committee to know. Our proposed schedule anticipates 75-minute breakout sessions, but double sessions or other time lengths may be considered. (Please see the proposed schedule at www.gmhs2012.org.) We expect to have a variety of classrooms available at the George Washington University, so we should be able to accommodate your desired room set up. You may submit proposals for stand-alone sessions, or ask the Program Committee to combine your presentation/activity with others.
