We will brainstorm and provide an overview of adultism and youth development principles. Learn to recognize a deficit based versus asset based perspective. Practice skills to combine positive sexuality and health resources with youth development.

The objectives for this workshop are:

• Gain and understanding youth development principles Identify how you can create a safe and welcoming space for youth
• Learn to challenge deficit based perspectives of youth in our communities and programs
• Identify how health, positive sexuality and youth development can be integrated into both health care and social service settings.
