"It’s not Racism. It’s a Preference.” – A Dialogue on Race & Class

The facilitators, one black and one white man, both experienced in discussing race/ethnicity, will begin the conversation by discussing their own experiences and interest in the topic. This along with some short readings or examples will be used to spark the participants’ thought processes. The participants will break up into small groups based on their race/ethnicity – in which they will, as a group, discuss common interests, experiences, and personal experiences with race and class. The discussion will end with each group reporting out about their discussion followed by a general group discussion on lessons learned.
